Dr. Yoly's Story
Dr Yoly is a licensed pharmacist with a Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in Pharmacology. She is also an active member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians.
Dr Yoly was raised by Mexican immigrant parents in Los Angeles, California. She comes from a family of women who over generations have practiced herbal medicine. This strongly influenced her desire to combine Western ,Herbal and Botanical medicine to formulate Dr Yolys Relief product line.
For over a decade she suffered with daily chronic pain in her lower back and neck. After years of choosing not to subject herself to the negative side effects of taking prescription pain killers and daily anti-Inflammatory drugs, she knew she needed another option for managing her pain.
As a pharmacist she sees first hand the gravity of the growing opiate epidemic and believes her product can provide a safe and effective alternative to prescribed painkillers.
Dr Yolys Relief, LLC is a Southern California Family Owned and Operated Business. The additional management members of the team include a UCLA grad health care professional, a local retired law enforcement officer and a pharmacy allied services professional.
Our goal is to educate people about the benefits of Hemp CBD and provide the highest quality ingredients that are safe and effective.
About CBD (Hemp Extract) Oil
Hemp Isolate (Cannabidiol) is one of more than 100 cannabinoids identified in cannabis sativa (Hemp) and accounts for about 40% of the plants extract. A cannabinoid is a substance that can bind to an endocannabinoid receptor in our bodies. The endocannabinoid system regulates the body's homeostasis, or general state of balance, impacting many of our functions like pain, mood, sleep, and appetite.
One important quality of Hemp Isolate is it produces no psychoactive effects ("high" or "stoned" ) seen in THC containing cannabis.
CBD is NOT considered intoxicating or harmful.
Hemp Isolate vs Hemp Full Spectrum Oil
High quality Hemp Isolate contains no THC. As the name suggests, these products have been isolated down to just the Cannabidiol molecule. They aim to deliver very specific therapeutic doses of Cannabidiol, isolated from the other cannabinoids and terpenes.
Full Spectrum Oil is minimally refined, leaving most of the cannabinoids and terpenes intact and in the oil. While it's uncommon, some have tested positive to a THC test after taking a Hemp Full spectrum oil product (a product containing <0.03% THC), despite the amount being too small to cause any kind of impairment.
For those who undergo regular drug testing, Hemp Isolate is considered a much safer choice compared to other methods.
